About Me
My name is Leann Gill Kuriger, and Louisville, Kentucky is my hometown. I am the proud mother of two, grandmother of three, and great-grandmother of one.
Before launching Society Staging, I retired from Jefferson County Public Schools after 27 years in education. This career developed my deep patience, creativity, and appreciation for creating calm, supportive environments—values I now bring to every home I stage. I also attended 2 years of design studies at Sullivan college, combining my life long creative eye with formal training.
Alongside my career in education, I also spent 12 years working as a professional painter with JCPS:
School District Projects: Completed extensive interior and exterior painting projects throughout school facilities.
Team Leadership: Served as the foreman of a paint crew during my final two years, managing and coordinating team projects.
Residential Painting: Provided custom interior painting for private homeowners throughout our local community.
My unique background in education, professional painting, and design allows me to approach each home staging project with both creativity and practical, hands-on problem-solving.
My Passion for Home Design
Creating beautiful, inviting spaces has always been a natural part of who I am. Over the years, I have helped friends and family rethink and improve their homes, often discovering how thoughtful design choices, furniture placement, and cohesive styling can completely transform the way a space looks and feels.
What began as a personal interest has grown into a true passion for helping others see the full potential in their homes, businesses, and short-term rental properties (such as Airbnb).
